Programma:
This intensive four-day course is designed for medical, biology, biotechnology and other scientific
faculties, focusing on various aspects of autoimmune neurological disorders.
Day 1: Clinical Disorders Associated with Antibodies Against Neuronal Surface Antigens (NSabs)
(2 hours)

  1. Lecture: Clinical disorders associated with NS-abs (30 minutes)
  2. Presentation: Diagnostic techniques and research perspectives in disorders associated with
    NS-abs (30 minutes)
  3. Practical Session: Evaluation of tissue/cell-based staining associated with NS-abs using
    microscope/computer (60 minutes)
    Day 2: Clinical Disorders Associated with Antibodies Against Intracellular Neural Antigens
    (IC-abs) (2 hours)
  4. Lecture: Clinical disorders associated with IC-abs (30 minutes)
  5. Presentation: Diagnostic techniques and research perspectives in disorders associated with
    IC-abs (30 minutes)
  6. Practical Session: Evaluation of tissue staining/immunoblot associated with IC-abs using
    microscope/computer (60 minutes)
    Day 3: Clinical Disorders Associated with Antibodies Against Glial Antigens (2 hours)
  7. Lecture: Clinical disorders associated with antibodies against glial antigens (30 minutes)
  8. Presentation: Diagnostic techniques and research perspectives in disorders associated with
    glial antibodies (30 minutes)
  9. Practical Session: Evaluation of tissue staining/cell-based staining associated with glial
    antibodies using microscope/computer (60 minutes)
    Day 4: Clinical Disorders Associated with Antibodies Against Neuromuscular Endplate (2
    hours)
  10. Lecture: Clinical disorders associated with antibodies against neuromuscular endplate (30
    minutes)
  11. Presentation: Diagnostic techniques and research perspectives in disorders associated with
    antibodies against neuromuscular endplate (30 minutes)
  12. Practical Session: Evaluation of cell-based staining associated with antibodies against
    neuromuscular endplate using microscope/computer (60 minutes)
    Maximum number of students: 8-10
    Requirements:

Microscope connected to a screen (optional)
Room equipped with a projector
Microscope with luminescence (compulsory) and fluorescence (optional)
