The Collegio funds periods of study or research abroad by its students. It also implements the Erasmus scholarships obtained by them.
In 2018, the Collegio paid the sum of about 40,000 Euros for Internationalisation.
Sandra Bruni Award. In 2016, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the female section of the Collegio, a prize named after its founder Mrs. Sandra Bruni was established, also through a fundraising among graduate students. The prize, awarded during the annual feast of St. Pio, is attributed to an ongoing student, particularly deserving for the level of her curriculum vitae, for her active contribution in the activities and on the basis of a project or study (or research, or work) programme that the prize could contribute to achieve.
Carlo Bernasconi Award. In 2017, on the occasion of the College’s 450th anniversary, a prize (in cash) entitled to Prof. Carlo Bernasconi, President of Ghislieri from 1983 until his death in 2014, was established on Ghislieri’s initiative and through fundraising among graduate students. The prize, awarded during the annual feast of St. Pio, is attributed to an ongoing student, particularly deserving of merit for the level of his curriculum vitae, for his active contribution in collegiate activities and on the basis of a project or study (or research, or work) programme that the prize could contribute to achieving.
Aurelio Bernardi Award. The degree award, instituted by his family in memory of Aurelio Bernardi, Master of the Collegio from 1945 to 1979, is intended for graduates in Literature from the Collegio Ghislieri and Collegio Nuovo.
Vittorio Denti Award. A study prize was established in 2018 named after the Collegio student Prof. Vittorio Denti (1919-2001), Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavia, distinguished scholar and President of Ghislieri from 1978 to 1983. The Prize is intended for Ghislieri’s undergraduate students or recent graduates in Law, with preference for those who dedicate themselves to studies in Civil Law. The prize is awarded during the assembly of San Pio.
For students who spend part of their academic career abroad, the Collegio Ghislieri finances short or long stays.

The Collegio requires its students to acquire at least two foreign languages, one of which is English. Students must prove their competence by acquiring language certifications. The expenses incurred to obtain the certifications are reimbursed by the College. To support its students, the Collegio Ghislieri organizes tailored made language courses
