We are proud to announce that Prof. Gianenrico Paganini (Università del Piemonte Orientale) and Prof. Luca Fonnesu (Università degli Studi di Pavia) have agreed to give keynote speeches at our conference.

This two-day conference will bring together advanced students and scholars working on the History of Philosophy, with a chronological range spanning from Ancient Greece to 20th century included.
Collegio Ghislieri Graduate Conference is meant to offer graduate students an opportunity to present papers and exchange ideas, with each other and with distinguished academics of the field. The language of the seminar will be English. No registration fees are required. We intend to make our conference as accessible as possible, and welcome everyone interested in philosophy to our conference.

Graduate students (Master, PhD students and those who have defended their doctoral thesis not earlier than 2013) can submit proposals for papers of approximately 30 minutes.
Participants will be offered accommodation and meals in the college. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover travel expenses.
The submission deadline is June 30th, 2015.
Successful applicants will be notified by July 25, 2014.
Please send the following to in .doc(x), .rtf, or .pdf format:
(1.) A cover letter containing the following information: (a) author’s name (b) institutional
affiliation (c) contact information, (d) title of the paper.
(2.) The title and abstract (around 500 words) of the paper. This should be prepared for blind refereeing i.e. showing no information identifying the author or the author’s institutional affiliation.

The conference will be held at Collegio Ghislieri, in the city center of Pavia (piazza Ghislieri, 5), at a walking distance from Pavia railway station (approximately 15 minutes).
How to get to Pavia

Participants will be offered accomodation and meals at Collegio Ghislieri. However, travel expenses cannot be covered. We strongly recommend participants to take part to all sessions of the conference.
